From 27th to 30th May 2024, we will be exhibitors and panelists at the 22nd International Forgemasters Meeting.

The conference, organised by AIM and Federacciai, is a prestigious event addressing all the major issues of the forging industry. It provides a unique forum to exchange knowledge with the industry’s leading companies, experts, researchers, engineers and decision makers at an international level.

On 28 May at 15.40 CET we will be presenting our paper “Automation, Safety, Efficiency: Automatic Heat Treatment Line for Forged Alloys” within the palimpsest of experts.

Our paper outlines the pioneering studies we carried out to design the Automatic Batch Line #1389, one of our most sophisticated and avant-garde products, measuring 175 m x 25 m x 9 m and consisting of

  • 12 furnaces
  • 1 water cooling tank
  • 1 polymer quench tank
  • 1 automatic loading machine
  • 2 forced air cooling stations
  • 2 transfer carriages
  • 2 interface stations for loading and unloading
  • 8 storage stations

We will show how we have met the market challenge in the forging sector, where the ability to manage specific treatment temperatures and different quenchants for each alloy has become paramount. We will explain how we have concentrated all the possible treatments of forged parts in a single automated island, how we have ensured total operator safety through automation, and how we have guaranteed seamless production based on the specific flow dynamics of each forge.
